A True Mom & Pop Establishment

This collection of niche, nautical-themed vacation rentals is the brainchild of Mark and Lorrie Taylor, a creative, travel-loving and entrepreneurial Branson-area couple.

The Taylors are the epitome of mom & pop with a long history of family businesses birthed over time including, Branson Upholstery, a pillar in the SW Missouri community. The Boone Docks Micro Resort, a passion project, brings together their heart for creating memorable experiences and craftsmanship. 

Alongside their main hustle, they set out on a journey to share a deep-rooted love for their home base, the beautiful Ozarks. The "micro-resort" a unique vacation destination near Table Rock Lake features a mix of repurposed boats and cozy bungalows, known for a quirky, unplugged aesthetic.

They've traveled all across the world during their 44 years of marriage and raised six children (two adopted from Russia) who all inherited a strong curiosity for exploration thanks to the family adventures.

The 4-acre property hosts a collection of meticulously curated oddities and within each bungalow Guests can spy treasures from the family's life travels.

Lorrie shares, "We have been inspired by our life travels, to create memorable experiences for every Guest who walks in the door."
